If they share some structural features related to their position between metropolises and rural areas or the geography of productive activities and public services, small and medium-sized cities form an heterogeneous group.
This seminar aims at opening new perspectives about housing and ways of living in these cities, while offering a space for interdisciplinary and international dialogue on these subjects. To address the questions and topics mentioned, three main axes are proposed: a first axe on residential pathways to better understand the mobilities and immobilities in small and medium cities; a second axe on lifestyles and modes of cohabitation; and a third axe on housing and public policies.
